Mindfulness is the essence of Falls Prevention. Mindful of where your body is in space, mindful of all of the senses including our vision and how for example concerted use of vision relates to Falls Prevention.
Our Fitseniors classes have a 30 minute Falls Prevention component that deconstructs the weaknesses in our sensory systems that lead to falls. We use specific exercises to address them one at a time.
